Amy Williams sat in the same front-row seat behind home plate for her 15th season when the Milwaukee Brewers won the World Series on Wednesday. The franchise secured the championship with a 4-1 victory in Game 5.
Williams has held a season ticket at American Family Field since 2011. Her presence in the blue and yellow front row became a fixture for fans and broadcasters alike. During the postseason, uncertainty grew over her specific location because of upcoming stadium renovations.
The Brewers plan to install a two-story premium suite called The Truss Club behind home plate before the 2027 season. This construction covers the first six rows. Williams expressed concern in early October that diehard fans might lose their spots during the rebuild.
She told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel after the 3-2 win in Game 1 that it would be special if the team won while the original season holders were still in their seats. On Oct. 5, Williams confirmed on X that she retains her specific seat for 2027 and beyond. She described the run as a wish she had held for 20 seasons and called the experience surreal.
Williams captured her reaction to the final out on X, using blue and yellow heart emojis. She will likely attend the championship parade scheduled for Oct. 30. The event takes place in downtown Milwaukee at 10 a.m. CT.
