Becky G is planning a quiet holiday season after a year defined by nonstop work. The Los Angeles-based artist finished 2026 with a fifth studio album, a new film, and a cross-country headlining tour. Her album, Baraja Bendita, earned a nomination for Top Latin Pop Album of the Year at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards. She also helped Patrón design a limited-edition bottle for the Our Rainwater Project. That initiative funded 200 rainwater harvesting systems for households in Jalisco, Mexico.

G says she has been away from home more than usual while grinding out her projects. She is now looking forward to reconnecting with family and enjoying food. "I’ve definitely been putting my head down and grinding it out, so I’m looking forward to family time," she said. She plans to make tamales with her family and prepare for Las Posadas. That nine-day religious celebration runs from December 16 to December 24.

Gift giving is a priority for the singer. She describes herself as ritualistic and values items that help her set a mood. She recommends palo santo and sage for cleansing spaces. She specifically praises Lé Trois Apothecary, whose No. 3 cleanser was inspired by her. The brand features notes of bergamot, oud, and vetiver. G also suggests Dezi Skin’s Agua Fresca Moisturizer as a mid-luxury beauty gift. The fragrance-free gel-cream contains niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants.

For her family’s white elephant exchange, G says a bottle of Patrón Tequila has been a popular item in the past. She is planning to give friends a bottle from her exclusive Rainwater Project collection this year. She chose it because the purchase supports a cause close to her heart. The silver tequila is unaged and made from 100% Weber Blue Agave. She also enjoys giving practical items like tin candles and glove box essentials such as hand wipes and lip balm.

G likes to give gifts that involve some shared effort. Last year, she bought her team a Mexican coffee set from a small Los Angeles cafe. The kit included Café de Olla and Oaxaca Reserve beans. She also curates matching color schemes for each family member’s presents on Etsy. She admits to keeping tissue paper and gift bags for years, sometimes using the same bags for up to eight years. She plans to wrap her gifts herself, a task she says she genuinely enjoys.

The singer notes that showing up together is the most important part of the season. "Now more than ever, there’s a unity that we need as a community," she said. She believes the holidays serve as a reminder of what matters in life. Her schedule is set for the upcoming weeks, with the focus shifting from performance to presence.

Her list includes specific products and traditions. She favors Soy Latina Candles for their non-toxic soy wax and heritage-inspired scents like apple cinnamon and pine. She also packs stockings with practical items, noting that they can overflow. Her approach combines personal ritual with community support, ensuring each gift has a specific purpose.
